How are doctors portrayed in 20th Century American Literature and why does it matter? This short talk, analyzes the doctor characters in three Great American novels: Winesburg, Ohio by Sherwood Anderson (1919), In Dubious Battle by John Steinbeck (1936), and White Noise by Don DeLillo (1985).
